His journey, from a dedicated cricketer to a passionate mentor reflects his unwavering commitment to the sport. An Inspiring Journey in Indian Cricket

Mr. Sukhvinder Singh began his cricket career in the 1980s and soon rose to prominence when he represented India at the Under 19 level during the tour of Australia in 1986. As a promising all-rounder, he played for the Delhi State Ranji Trophy team from 1986 to 1991 and later represented Assam from 1996 to 2005. His performances earned him a place in top-level domestic tournaments such as the Deodhar Trophy and the Duleep Trophy, where he played for East Zone.

One of his major career highlights was playing in the Challenger Trophy for India B under the leadership of Sachin Tendulkar in 2001. Mr. Singh also played for Indian Airlines, now Air India, for more than 15 years and spent 10 seasons playing professionally in England. His diverse playing experience gave him a broad and international perspective on the game.

A Dedicated India Cricket Coach

After retiring from professional cricket in 2006, Mr. Singh shifted his focus toward coaching. He became an ECB Certified Coach in 1996, a BCCI Level 1 Coach in 2009, and earned his BCCI Level 2 Certification in 2022. As an Indian cricket coach, he brings both technical expertise and mentorship to the field, inspiring hundreds of young players.

Since 2010, Mr. Sukhvinder Singh has been coaching full-time at Ace Cricket Academy in Rajouri Garden, Delhi. Over the years, the academy has built a strong reputation for grooming talented cricketers from a young age. Under his leadership, the academy follows a structured and professional approach to skill development, fitness, discipline, and match awareness.

Achievements and Recognition

Mr. Singh holds the rare domestic record of scoring 167 runs and taking 10 wickets in the same Ranji Trophy match. He captained Assam for two seasons and was later involved in player selection as part of the Delhi District Cricket Association. He has served as a selector for the Under 19, Under 22, and Ranji teams, and was also the Chairman of the Junior Selection Committee of DDCA.
